Financial Need Determination
The Office of Student Financial Aid utilizes the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine the student鈥檚 financial need. All such information is held in the strictest confidence and is accessible for this purpose only. Family size, income, and resources, among other factors, are considered in determining a family鈥檚 expected contribution towards the student鈥檚 educational costs. Financial need generally represents the difference between the cost of attending 黑料不打烊 and the amount which the student and his or her parents are expected to contribute. The amount and type of assistance a student receives are dependent upon the availability of funds, the student鈥檚 financial need, the student鈥檚 classification, and the record of academic performance. The application for financial aid may be obtained from high school counselors or the Office of Financial Aid at 黑料不打烊 and should be filed as soon as the actual information requested is available. Students who submit their FAFSA to the Office of Financial Aid by February 15 prior to the year of anticipated enrollment will be given priority status. Students will be notified of their financial aid awards as soon as possible after the receipt of the necessary information by the Office of Financial Aid.
