Multicultural Initiatives

All clubs and programs are open to all students.

> 1stGEN@HDXÌýis a program open to all ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ students whose parents or guardians did not attain a bachelor's degree. Designed to improve the college experience for first-generation students and their families, this program aims to produce graduates who are prepared for the workforce and graduate school. > Bruthas Respectfully Unifying at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ (BRUH) is a diversity affinity network that supports young men of color.

> Sistas In Solidarity (SIS)Ìý is a diversity affinity network that supports young women of color.

>ÌýGreek Life:ÌýWhile ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ does not host fraternities or sororities, students attending ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ are allowed to go through the intake process with the following National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Greek organizations through the University of Central Arkansas: Alpha Phi Alpha, Kappa Alpha Psi, Omega Psi Phi, Phi Beta Sigma, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho

> The Cultural Display Case is a rotating display located across from the Information Desk in the Student Life and Technology Center that celebrates the cultures of members of our ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community.

> First Tuesday Talks wereÌýheld the first Tuesday of each month from noon to 1 pm. The talks were co-sponsored by Project Pericles, First Tuesday Talks were dedicated to developing the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ community’s understanding of diversity and inclusive practices. The program asked community members to answer the question,Ìý“What is my identity, and how does it enrich my community?".Ìý
