Biography

Dr. Celeste Reeb is a Film and Media scholar whose work primarily focuses on Disability, Closed Captioning, Film History, and Gender and Sexuality. Their work has appeared in Disability Studies Quarterly. They have published chapters in听Screening Adult Cinema听补苍诲听Hollywood Heroines: The Most Influential Women in Film History. Currently, they are working on a manuscript examining the rhetorical choices in closed captioning. Dr. Celeste serves as a mentor for 1st听Generation College Students.

When not researching or watching B-movies, they spend time with their two beautiful cats (MozzerElla Fitzgerald and Cheesy Gordita Crunch).听
